Mothering Sunday.

We spent Mothering Sunday, or March 14, walking the Malvern Hills.  Mother's Day is celebrated early in the UK.  Last year we arrived in April and in May I looked around for Mother's Day cards to send home and realized I was two months too late!  I'm much more prepared this year.  

I think we both miss the mountains and the Malverns come the closest to filling the gap. The view is amazing of the English countryside.  It really is a beautiful place to live. 

Hello Spring.

It's nice to see the first signs of Spring! Especially since it has been so cold.  These are snowflakes and they come up around the same time the crocus does.  We see them popping up everywhere right now and it gives me hope that summer is just around the corner.
